It should happen. The only reason for it not to happen is a lack of ambition from the top.
So, to keep my sanity, I hope we embrace the youth, and I wish Thomas Frank and his team all the best.
I do very much hope we are not back here in 18 months time. Sick of this merry-go-round.

I think there is good enough depth for box-to-box midfielders, if Donley were to be used correctly, we have 3 no10's. I see Son and Johnson as inside forwards rather than wingers, Richy more as a left winger.
All of this would cost a ton of money for ready-made players. I can't see it happening.

If, however, I am wrong. Then Spurs need to go a little crazy. Recruitment is key to any success, and at Spurs, they would need to not only have the ownership provide £200+ million but get the players bought, correct.
Players who can start in the prem. A LB, LCB, ST, LW/RW, and omg a bloody NO.6!!

We now have a coach with little experience on the biggest stages. This will be a learning curve for him and his staff as well. This further shows me the board does not care about success, only money.
We are not acting like a club looking to win now, but charging like it.

The likes of Donley, Moore, Devine, Vušković, Veliz, Yang Min-hyeok, Lankshear, along with Bergvall and Gray, need to be involved.
They have no fear, will gain an insane amount of experience, and in a few years, who knows...

The way to get around this ownership is to embrace the youth. They look really promising. Get them in the team now, early, and get that much-needed experience.
There will be growing pains, mistakes, but the idea is not to win now. We know the funds won't be there for that. But we can mould a team.

So what I think the club will do is buy one, possibly two big signings that will peak the hype and make sure fans show up and pay the big bucks.
This still leaves us short in various positions and depth in order to compete/go for another trophy. Ange had to sacrifice the league to win.
