More of this guy. Surely Pete squirming like the worthless human worm he is in front of a man of character and conviction who will look him straight in the eye and let lil' Pete know who and exactly what he is.

Alright Alaska. You know what to do. The loss of our public lands will be catastrophic. It will fundamentally change our way of life. This does not abide.

The story of America (yes, there are many chapters, not all pretty) is one of citizens showing up to assert our rights to self-determination, due process, and a free and fair society. From the Minutemen to Harriott Tubman to today, it is the story of We The People. Keep fighting the good fight.

The right to due process is as foundational as it comes in our democracy. This was one of several key points in the Declaration of Independence. If you allow those in power to take away the rights of others, yours will soon be gone too. Those doing this and those doing nothing need a reminder.

Wait until you compare the benefits we provide to our elected officials related to the basic government functions and services they deny us. For a real fun time, compare their earnings to their investments, to their public rhetoric, to their votes. Stuff starts smelling really fishy at that point.

Archangels of Funk is a brilliant title.

Yet they didn't call for him to resign in disgrace. I've run into so many guys like this. All talk, bluster, and bullshit until the shit hits the fan, something actually needs to be done, or they meet someone with a low tolerance for BS. Then they become scarce or just cower in the corner whining.

i’ve never resonated with a video as much as this one

The only qualifier for getting sent there is being brown.

Apparently some of the Forest service land for “sale”/theft in the Senate resolution are the mountains next to my house, the ones we get our drinking water from. Please stop them!

What if everyone showed up to protest looking like the military surplus ice agents?

Well Duh.

In 1266 a widow named Avelina le Marescal wanted to pay off some sins for herself and her late husband. And so, like you do, she donated some eels. Avelina gave the priory of Norwich all the eels paid in rent from her mill in Bywick, thus securing the monks' prayers & blessings.🗃️🧪

I just got word that the Crumby Bakery in Wasilla will be closing its doors at the end of the month - I’ll have my sun catchers up til the last possible minute, so be sure to visit before June 28th! #Alaska #AlaskaSky #BSNM

What if I could tell you an easier and more effective way to fight fascism? Seriously, not many of us are going to be blowing up substations on night raids… we’d just be without power anyway… But everyone can lose paperwork, be in the way when ICE shows up… innocently throwing sand in the gears.

Led by amateurs without the ability to think about consequences. Isis takes over you get a bunch of misery and more mass migration. I thought they were against migration.

Are you a palaeo person that struggles to keep on top of new discoveries? Or simply fossil-curious and want to learn about the world of the past? Introducing the FOSSIL FILES! A new podcast where two palaeontologists explain and dissect exciting new finds. Episode 1: How does your plesiosaur swim?

Oddly enough this whole rich person land grab has me thinking about Robin Hood. One of the big issues when the myth starts was kings owning forests with special punishments for hunting “the kings game” or “cutting the kings forest.” Bit more complex, but anyway. We have a royalty problem methinks.

Not trying to be an ass here, but think this through. Let’s say we come up with conclusive, undeniable proof he didn’t win. A large part of holding power is being in the seat of power. Who is going to remove him and how? USSC isn’t going to support it. I doubt all the D legislators would.

#akleg Our state constitution says "All civil officers of the State are subject to impeachment by the legislature." If Adam Crum has been obstructing legislative audit and giving away hundreds of millions in sweetheart deals to his buddies at the oil companies, it might be worth considering.

But they will never get the stench out of it and are wondering where their spare uniforms went off too.

Why the hell would they want to make places inaccessible? I mean one of the great physicists of our time was in a chair.

So pretty much every piece of land in the West and much of Alaska. This will put me on the war path.

I bet they reenact some cheesy pre-combat check scene from a movie about SEALs before going out gooning.

I say you get everyone nearby to have an ass-beating party until an identifiable cop with a picture id shows.

Of course he is. Every toddler tests the limits to see what he can get away with, and then cry’s how unfair it is if anyone says “no,” which has very rarely happened in the orange fools life, and has never resulted in consequences of any kind.

One of the things I’ve noticed in my travels is that Americans assume people from different cultures value what we value and think the way we think. I’ve yet to find any real world examples where that is true. We fail to meet people where they are. We demand they be like us. We have a lot to learn.

I’ve been there since about age 19

DΞSIGN HΞΛVΞN: Happy birthday to American furniture designer, architect, photographer, and filmmaker Charles Eames (June 17, 1907 – August 21, 1978) ❝Choose your corner, pick away at it carefully, intensely and to the best of your ability and that way you might change the world.❞

First think I think when I see this map, knowing a little about the area, is “wonder which rich guy wants a private reserve out there he will never see.”

Afraid much of Alaska is going to disappear as we know it give congresses inability to do anything and our legislators who never met extraction money they didn’t like as long as it goes directly into their pocket (an Alaskan tradition since the 80s) and where they live is untouched.

If we reach the end of this somehow, I think it would only just to sell off all the possessions and holdings of the richies and congressional grifters who got us to this point. They trashed and keep trashing and stealing our stuff while they work to impoverish us. Fair is fair.
