Had no clue Ninja Kamui was even nominated, but that's great news to hear. I hope this starts to combat the narrative around Toonami Originals, because clearly there's a major disconnect between the viewership and the AniTwitter/AniSky/YouTube Influencer-sphere regarding their reception.

Worth noting for Macross Plus: this mirrors the Japanese release. There’s no standard edition of the OVA in Japan, it’s restricted to the long OOP limited edition box and I expect the same to be mirrored in Western countries. If you want the OVA specifically, you’ll need to grab the large boxset.

I don’t think this episode was going to be up to everyone’s speed, but I loved the contemplative nature and relaxed pace of this week’s #Lazarus. An episode like this is hard to pull off and I think they nailed the tone. Might be my favorite episode so far, even above number 4.

Final Destination Bloodlines might be the best one in the series (it’s up there with 5 and 2). It has my favorite opening disaster so far, and some of the set pieces are wild as heck. Also, the send off for Bludworth (Tony Todd) was pitch perfect. Can’t imagine a better final appearance.

The PS5 and Xbox Series consoles are 5 years old and support RT. In a little over 3 weeks, the next Nintendo console is going to have RT support. Apple, AMD and Intel CPU’s all have iGPU’s with hardware RT support now. We’re basically at the point where it’s going to be the standard going forward.
