Thanks for my first (and hopefully not last...but these days, who can tell) laugh of the day.

Does this mean we can now undo his many pardons of J6'ers and other crooks now serving in his administration?
comment in response to post
It would not surprise me if he announce removal of all sanctions on Russia and immediately order our military/industrial complex to assist them in resupply. And they don't care who they sell to...they'll do it.
comment in response to post
You're forgetting North Korea and Iran. Possibly also China.

Fortunately, by now most people no longer trust anything they read or hear on or in the mainstream media. This article was as tone-deaf as they come.
comment in response to post
Pretty tone deaf statement. These guys really need to learn to read the room (in this case, country).

Anyone notice the dead look on Rubio's face and in his eyes. That guy is a shell of what he used to be. I don't think he'll last much longer.
comment in response to post
He might come up with a better answer if he wasn't totally whacked out.

Or...and hear me out here...Pence is positioning for his next presidential run after the current total disaster has run it's course and the Republican Party is trying to piece itself back together again after their brief bout of insanity and cowardice.
comment in response to post
Wow...now they're saying their quiet part out loud.

I'm frankly surprised at your well-reasoned posts. I don't know why, but I thought you were part of the millionaire/billionaire class take the country apart right now. My apologies for thinking ill of you.

That "big, beautiful ocean" doesn't protect us from intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Sometimes I think the South actually won the Civil War with how they have subverted this country.
comment in response to post
I believe the precipice you speak of is the one someone pushes him over and puts an end to this nightmare. And I'm like a kid in the back seat on a trip with my folks chanting, "Are we there yet, are we there yet...."
comment in response to post
I guess our moment is coming.
comment in response to post
Hollow comfort as we'll be in the shit pile right next to the idiots.

I really HATE living in this puritanical, far-Right state. These people are an embarrassment.
comment in response to post
It is incomprehensible to me how they could shit on Zelensky one day (the long bargaining phone call between Putin and Trump on how to end Ukraine) and expect him to roll over and give them the plunder they seek on the next.
comment in response to post
Ah...I see Trump suck-up Doug Bergum there. He made his millions while Gov. of North Dakota during the start of the oil fracking boom. What an embarrassment he is.

Most farmers are not this aware. I live in farming country and around here what's happening hasn't sunk in yet. They don't even remember Trump destroying the Chinese soy markets last time...we bailed them out with $90 billion in our tax dollar in farm subsidies. They don't remember that.

Wow...such athleticism for someone his age. I've never seen someone that old bend that far backwards before.
comment in response to post
She has been willfully ignorant for a long time now. She's part of a crypt-keeper league that need to be purged from Congress. Both sides have too many old, rich (and mostly white) people serving.

This is making me realize just how small so many men's "package" must be. Guess this makes them feel larger, huh?
comment in response to post
Everyone supports the rule of law...except the people currently in charge. The judiciary relies on DOJ and FBI to carry out it's orders, and since they've been taken over, we are SOL.
comment in response to post
Willful ignorance. A lot of that going around.
comment in response to post
If that was supposed to make me feel better, it didn't. Felon 47 and his evil minions are gutting all the departments on your list.
comment in response to post
I'll bet New Mexico was surprised to hear about this.

I don't know who told her it was a good idea to dress like a barefoot Russian cow maid, but there it is:

Busy holding back firebrands like AOC and Jasmine Crockett so they can work on bipartisan solutions with opponents that are laughing in their faces.
comment in response to post
Where's a laughing emoji when you need it?

I love this woman so much.
comment in response to post
Gosh, Elon. Such a self-aware comment.
comment in response to post
Don't forget the part where the resistance is largely silent.
comment in response to post
Would love to see the Dems mark in there and drag them out and lock them out.
comment in response to post
Damn right. No wonder the silence has been deafening from the supposed opposition. Also, they need to drop the bipartisan nice guy act and get tough, get mean.
comment in response to post
So how does Rubio fit into this view with his Cuban heritage?
comment in response to post
Especially these days.
comment in response to post
While I agree with your statement. But, Dems are, for the most part, failing to meet the crisis of this moment. When are you going to give up your bipartisan dreams and bare-knuckle fight for our democracy? That's what you are all there for.
comment in response to post
Soon we will all feel that tainted spray in our faces.
comment in response to post
Agreed. The deafening silence on the Left is just handing the government over to MAGA. Where is the outrage; where is the resistance; where is the plan to get us through this? Instead, all we get is "crickets" beyond what AOC and Crockett do, bless them.
comment in response to post
Response is unclear because we no longer have an independent media reporting the facts. One has to go to YouTube to find independent reporting.

Sadly, with most media, tech billionaires and corporations in this country getting in line to kiss his, let's just say "ring," it is becoming more and more his personal fiefdom. As before, we must suffer enough to get to the point where we are ready to defeat another ruler, as we once did.
