It's easier than that. Mexico and Canada can still continue to host it. Just cut out all the USA matches and reschedule. Mexico have hosted World Cups before and Edmonton and Montreal with their big stadiums aren't hosting anything at the moment πŸ˜‰

Here. I've corrected it for you. "Gianni Infantino’s idyllic vision for the World Cup has been clouded by his greed."

It's been some year for her. She was on the bench for our UWCL qualification games against Rangers and Rosenburg and I spotted her wearing an old JVC shirt on the pitch in Lisbon.

It's hard to do a direct comparison as AWFC and CWFC report accounts and run the clubs differently, but if you look at profit and loss and the parent club subsidy together these are the comparison figures:

If we are to believe that valuation it makes Arsenal Women worth Β£300m+. Hopefully though it will have the side effect of boosting the book value of Arsenal Women to the Kroenkes so they'll invest more. (Our turnover is +33%, gate receipts 2.4 times more, and the parent club subsidises them less).

It's almost as though they are beginning to twig that it's a pile of shite that no one asked for.

She could have started negotiating a move to Europe or the NWSL from January. There's been no sign of that. She doesn't have anywhere else to go in the WSL that would pay a premium like we will, play at the level she wants to be at and where the fans already love her. I hope she gets a good deal 😁

And she will shift shirts in The Armoury! πŸ˜‰ I suspect that a lot of the caginess is down to FA rules. She is a contracted City player until the 30th June, and we would have had to ask permission to enter domestic pre-contact talks, which we clearly now have done. πŸ₯°

There's a reason Pompey fans call them "Scummers" πŸ˜‰

Wienroither is coming back then? I wouldn't be too unhappy about that. She's a good player and cover for Fox.

Facebook doubly so for mental health. The shite you get on Twitter is normally from strangers so easier to compartmentalise and ignore. Facebook crap on the other hand is from family and friends, and sometimes I just don't want to know what they are thinking.

Probably the only reason I still login to Twatter is that Arsenal and Arsenal Women still refuse to post content elsewhere. Same is true for the BBC. πŸ™„

I thought you might go for the more obvious... "The Arsenal Women's team could have beaten that Spanish side". Although which side Caldentay would have been on is up for debate! πŸ˜‰

She blamed it on her older brother 🀣

Really? πŸ€” Next from The Athletic: "After Spurs' European trophy, how will they cope with winning the Premier League next season."

You can restore shirts to pristine condition, but there is no way I will fit into my 1989 Arsenal JVC shirt again! 🀣

I absolutely understand why, but I was a disappointed to see KΓΌhl leave. She is just so much a younger version of Kim Little in her play for Denmark.

Not disagreeing with 3up-3down but I've always liked the 1987 and 1988 play-off format where the third from bottom side in the higher division enters the play-offs with the 3rd, 4th and 5th teams from the lower division.

I think you missed out "nepo" from that sentence 😁

After the Highbury Barn had to call police because of angry fans when they ran out of beer after the last home match in 1998, I just know that giving planning permission to turn the old London taxi showroom in Holloway Road into a Majestic wine store will bite Islington Council on the bum one day.

It's more incisive than Ally McCoist's. King of stating the bleedin' obvious and getting paid for it 🀣

I learned a great trick about watching the Super Bowl in the US. Find a bar where there are seats that can't see the screens. They are always empty and you can still eat all the free food the bar is serving. 😁
