I don't think any POV is "wrong", it depends how you can most effectively tell your story.

I don't think it's outdated at all, it's the best if you want to show the perspectives/feelings of multiple characters, and is also helpful if you want the reader to know things the characters don't.

A huge generalisation but I find romance has less variety in the overall arc than many other genres - either they end up together or they don't.
I prefer stories where it's harder to guess how it will end.
A well-written romance subplot is always welcome though.

Have you tried looking at used car ads? I've used them before, quite handy as there are normally lots of pics from all angles, interior and exterior.
