Didn’t even get a chicken taco. Uncommitted and disappointing.

They definitely did. They just do not like that everyone else does not like that they voted. I believe their response to being told for months “these deportations will rip families apart, they will tear children from mothers and fathers,” was an emphatic “Good!”
They don’t like the consequences.

I’ve not really seen anyone talk about how much money it will take to give this new jet the functionality of the current jets, nor the fact that the whole thing would need to be disassembled and reassembled to search for listening devices and explosives. It would be cheaper to just make a new jet.

That’s definitely fair, and truth be told I want to be wrong. I just see it more likely that we will get an Idris variant announcement and a release timeframe a few months from now. Everything everyone is pointing to as evidence that it absolutely will launch is very circumstantial.

Not gunna lie, I am doubtful if for nothing but the fact that the Marketing team hasn’t gotten the chance to hype it up extra hard to sell as much as possible. The sounds and such are in from previous ILWs, and as far as the skins go I have a skin for my Galaxy but that doesn’t mean it will drop.

SC systems have quite a few similarities with the economic supply lines of the Roman Empire, which is thematic. Throw in some East India Company shenanigans and you e got yourself a good analogue. Though it seems this model applies to a group of systems multiple times instead of being empire-wide.

Don’t they typically get upset at the idea of some “welfare queen” having 19 kids to live off government welfare programs?

Some may but not enough to matter or make a difference. Most will just ship their components and products from other countries with a lower tariff rate and then pass the increase on.
Just saw some companies planning on moving production back are focusing on using robotic assembly lines as well.

I’ve been preparing for the “find out” period for the last couple years, so while I’ll experience it I’m going to make it through the other side fine barring a total collapse of America. Even then I’m prepared.

I remember doing this in, like, middle school and feeling it was impressive. I guess he has just never moved past that mental stage.

One does not need to subscribe to the same political ideologies to recognize that the violation and stripping of our Constitutional rights as US Citizens, legal immigrants and everyone else residing within our borders is not a good thing and should be fought against, the act is heinous no matter who

Everyone likes the “marketplace of ideas” until they are forced to face the fact that a lot of their ideas are worthless. How someone chooses to react to that shows a lot about them. It sounds like they chose poorly.

Another toxic trait we need to unlearn and leave on the side of the road is “never rely/lean on anybody, you’ll be a burden.”
Sharing your problems or asking for help is not being a burden, and it helps both you and others when it’s all out in the open. Vulnerability is scary but you can do it!

It’s so ridiculous because they made up this situation like 12 years ago, pearl clutched about it, forgot they made it up and now actually believe it, and have finally legislated a fix to a problem that never existed.

Depending on how many steps there are in the supply chain and and how many components have tariffs applied to them. This is why tariffs are very specifically targeted and used as a temporary measure (not a main source of government income). With broad applications these numbers spiral very quickly.

Wipe out any wealth gained by “the poors” and get government bailouts to wipe out their debt that they won’t have to pay back, all while wiping out unions in the guise of lay offs.

In totally foreseeable consequences cutting off all food to a country and bombing every square inch of it returned poor results.
On the other hand, Israel never wanted the hostages back alive. The fact any survived is an accident.

He knows his last administration was a shit show and he is trying to go down in history as the first President in decades to expand US holdings. He doesn’t care about how these imperialist ideas affect anyone, even the US, he doesn’t want to be the biggest failure among US Presidents. Too late!

Yes but we voted them all down and legislated against them.
We could have cloned human organs as needed, but apparently that’s “unethical” because a lawmaker watched The Island.

It is actually a Congressional power, but they couldn’t be bothered with the burden of doing their jobs so they passed laws a while back to let the Executive do it for them.

A “Department” that doesn’t exist, has no power, no enforcement mechanisms, and has two people doing the job of one person. Surely this is the height of efficiency!
