And some will refuse to support Gov. Newsom because he's shown a willingness to throw trans people and homeless people under the bus. Nobody is expendable.

These guys are my favorite punk/metal/rap/Indian folk fusion music group (with admittedly limited exposure to the genre). They have a very good energy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gsy5...

Made this up of only Giants. I'm ridiculously pleased with myself for it. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 804 9/9: Rarity: 11 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 Play at: immaculategrid.com/play

Outside of social media, I have never had an interaction with a celebrity. Closest I've come is attending a lecture by Desmond Tutu.

Every sage who's ever spoken has pointed out the interconnectedness of all of humanity in one way or another - and it's becoming more and more apparent to people who aren't Republicans. You're not just hurting "them". You're hurting us. All of us. Including you.

Law enforcement is scared. They know that we are many, and they are few. They are realizing that they have much that they could lose Power Privilege Immunity And the People are starting to realize the state of the nation. The police state of the nation. Be safe out there, y'all.

That arc toward justice won't bend itself

The immigration system really is broken though. Over 10 million undocumented forming a vast underground community, afraid of being seen by anyone in authority - it's a recipe for disaster. Beyond our current disaster... Simple solution: Open the doors. Let 'em all in.

Because the News tells them there's crime everyday and the idea that you can solve this problem by getting rid of them instead of needing to invest in social programs for "those people"

Lots of things are possible, some are very unlikely, some appear to be impossible. Me being able to resist office donuts is simply impossible.

There is room in this world for those who enjoy cake *And* Those who enjoy pie.

Civility has the feeling of a core, shared value But it's a weird, untethered idea that pops up very sporadically, almost always directed left (ideologically) & down (hierarches)

Is it really possible for anyone to be this feckless? Can a group of politicians really have so little moral backbone that they can simply watch the federal government abuse the citizens and not know what to do? Why do they even need polls and strategists now - when federal abuses are so clear?

Yes. This is the mindset that decent people oppose - this kind of callousness to the cruelty of the administration. This is what divides us. This way of behaving and all who carry it is what we oppose. And we will never not oppose them, will never unite with them. 1/

Hey, @rfhgina.bsky.social! Listening as always, just wanting to maybe clarify why trans folks are asking people to boycott the new HP, even knowing it's not going to happen. Ms. Rowling is using her money to fund anti-trans orgs and legislation. 1/? www.advocate.com/news/jk-rowl...

Should probably be said periodically - the Trump administration is the most openly racist administration of my lifetime. It's vile and abhorrent - you cannot be a decent human being and not despise and reject them.

Anger is the appropriate response to unjust cruelty. Anger might be expressed in different ways But it should be expressed People should be real Authoritarians will meet expressed anger with escalating violence It's what they do The nation is being set up for... trouble

It's a winning issue with the people who only see snippets of Fox News or other right-wing media, and don't have the time, energy or skills to properly analyze what they're being told. A winning issue with Trump's base. It's a major losing issue with others. This is further dividing the nation.
