Cases where I *would* revert:
- the change was made very recently
AND:
- the error was egregious (direct harm to users, e.g data loss)
- pretty much anything security related
And even then, scrubbing commit history would only happen if there was something particularly nasty, e.g. API keys etc.

this joke was brought to you by the overlap between home improvement TV shows and first person shooter games

Apologies you are correct - it is indeed a phased roll out of an established treatment (although I am cautiously optimistic about the efficacy, I still wouldn't call it a wonder drug)

It's a trial with very strict roll out conditions - we don't know if it's a miracle drug or not

In particular the addendum at the end of the anthropic article raises an excellent point - that the increased flexibility (feature) of agents is directly opposed to good evaluations (reliability)

I would certainly be interested to read a follow up on momentum and what happened to them after corbyn

Didn't momentum etc do a bunch of work with food banks? Or am I misremembering?

Have you tried rasam before?

Utterly disgusting to me, but it'll put hair on your chest for sure

Would a three month rolling average give you the best of both worlds? Improve the signal-to-noise ratio and avoid ridiculous headlines every quarter when the latest figures are announced?

Has the economy changed enough since labour came into power that Starmer is actually correct here?
Behaviour being environment dependent and all that

Given all our world leaders will have grown up with videogames - which games would you want them to have played?
1. Disco Elysium
2. Civilization 6
3. Age of Empires 3
4. Don't Starve
5. Fire Emblem Awakening
I'm sure there are some simulation games I haven't played that would be a better fit ๐

"would you be interested in a trade agreement with England?"
Is surely the only thing our gov needs to say to literally anybody else, ever.

Stop telling me that all my hours playing Civilization are not good preparation for running the country.

With an abundance mindset, I think it should be entirely possible to train large neural networks on attributable data, and share the economic gains from AI with the originators of that data

I suspect he believes that we should be building similar models in the UK with fairly accessed training data

Which certainly makes sense to me

What people are willing to pay is only one side of the coin.
IF adding AI to your product increases the number of people who can use it in the first place, that's a value add to the company AND the new users, even if it detracts from the experience of existing users.

Does setting up an AI start up and taking millions in VC funding and then going bust count as robbing banks?

@timharford.ft.com I absolutely love More or Less but please please please do an ounce of research before sharing these sorts of opinion pieces, it really dumps on your credibility

Is your prior belief that whatever method we have that's the best at a task is how the brain works?
