The actual thing imo is that people mistake the ends of both Israel's current government and Hamas to be "peace" and not "supremacy." Hamas' tactics justify themselves to Hamas because the goal is maintaining their power & pursuing the destruction of Israel at any cost in Gazan or Israeli lives.
