Abuse is always like this. Someone wants you to act a certain way or do a certain thing. And instead of making that path easier. They make it more difficult until your like "fuck it, I don't want these problems."

Although Lion King is the first movie that made me cry.
Mufasa dying is not kid friendly. That shit was traumatizing.

Exactly but right now. No one wants to visit the U.S. and there will be a shrinking number of people who can even afford vacation.

Yeah I haven't done a blocklist in a long time. I can understand that as someone able bodied I may not catch all the ableism that is spouted.
I'm all about doing what's best for sanity tho.

You're probably not wrong. Because your take reminds me of romance scams. The scammer finds something that this person struggles with, matches their struggle, then takes their money.
It feels like the same vibe. Although his followers aren't beating the hateful POS allegations.

Right!! He lied about the economic impact of his choices ..
And since America is not a literate country, his followers decided not to read or research.

Not feeling sad that the gunman, inadvertently shot themselvest too, does not in any way diminish oneโs ability to care for, or act on behalf of, the people that shooter, literally, targeted. If anything, it would be weird to put the harm the shooter experienced in the same galaxy as their victims.

I can say the movie missed its mark because you could tell at least in the book that they were catching real feelings, the book didn't capture this.
But honestly this book was over hyped and mediocre, I will not be reading any sequels.
