The thing about shared sacrifice is we need to believe in “the cause.” Tax cuts for billionaires is not a worthy cause to get behind, unlike WW II rations when fighting fascism.

So everyone can say to their boss that if they disregard the days they were absent from work they should still receive a full paycheck, right?! That’ll totally work. /sarcasm, also not including pto time, etc

Good lord this idiot is going to get us into WWIII by texting & pissing off the wrong gov’t. I really don’t want to be nuked because of a stupid war started by texting that escalated

What!?! I don’t know whether to be impressed by the absurdity of misdirection by saying that as a person in his position or to concerned that a person in his position thinks that’s an intelligent response. Either they really think most people are morons or they are 🤷‍♀️

I wish you’d put this info near the pic. After listening to the clip I was confused how the child was affected by ICE based on the remarks from the superintendent. Powerful images can evoke emotions but they should be real images imho otherwise they risk a backlash or being ignored or discounted

That’s awful. Moving is so easy & cheap these days, especially if you’re already ill or disabled. That sounds like a terrible mess.

How adorable. In her defense I’ve enjoyed playing with zippers since I was a kid so I totally understand her excitement. My nephew once went shopping to a craft store resale shop. He asked for a 20” zipper. My mom bought it but was perplexed. It made perfect sense to me. Zip…zip 😆

So true. I had the pleasure of watching my sis’ puppy discover his image in shiny furniture that reflected like a mirror. It had us both transfixed for quite a while. Great memory

Americans have for a long time not been taught to think critically but to regurgitate facts. I was a straight A student who received many scholarship offers but struggled in college because my preparation was not great. I didn’t begin to learn how to think critically until college unfortunately.

Are they doing this as revenge Biden’s Cancer Moonshot? Or because science is bad? I’m having so much trouble finding a unifying theory on all the chaos.Yes Project 2025 but for what ends? Does it say? I guess I’ll have to read that drivel myself instead of getting my info in chunks from others

As a chronic migraine sufferer I would ❤️ if we had that in my US neighborhood. How wonderful for people who are sensitive to sensory inputs for whatever reason.

If you have family who can help you out, then maybe it’s a mild inconvenience. If that’s your only source of income, your family can’t help or you have no family, then yes you are calling to find out what happened because you can’t buy groceries or pay your bills. That doesn’t mean your a fraudster🙄

I was able to find this by finding on my mom’s SSA online acct where her last check was sent. It didn’t list her regular bank but a bank in Ohio. That bank is somehow related to Cash App. Had this info when we went to SSA office & they argued with her that she had made this change. I was with her

My mom didn’t get her check last Nov. We found it was actually fraud. Someone had changed her bank info to a Cash App acct. My mom barely can read an email. She doesn’t have Cash App. She did eventually get her checks back to her reg bank acct but hasn’t received anything from the missing month.
