Knowing the story of Harvey Milk, this is disgusting. The concept of "the Twinkie Defense" came from the Dan White trial, from what I remember... the idea being that he killed Milk due to being overloaded on sugar from Twinkies. So they call a high sugar milkshake a Harvey Milkshake? Appalling!

This is why I tell people how they can donate their old glasses. There are people out there who may need them and can't afford them. Looks like Lions Clubs International is one of the biggest organizations that do this.

It's been a long time favorite of mine, way back when I was in my unicorn phase. The author of the book also wrote the screenplay, so the tone and themes of the movie are very much in line with the book.
