Itās a good job that the last government didnāt do this during their 14 years in power, isnāt it? At least, the press never mentioned it.

The problem is that donāt have any experience of not being a top 7/8 team. Some of us who have been close to financial failure, playing in Divisions 2/3/4 and threatened with losing a club you love, know what hardship is. 11th in Premier League is a privilege which you should cherish not moan about.

Fortunately, Trump will be long gone before he even gets a chance, unless Trump gets changes to the US constitution (or/and has not lost all his marbles by then)

I donāt disagree with you but there are those who want to make disingenuous political statements about it. All budgets produce people who get trapped in the middle. The winter fuel payment removal is another example, at the other end of the economy. My sympathy is with them rather than the farmers.

Good to have a sensible conversation on this, not something that always happens on the Musk platform. The āspecific lawsā were, of course, passed by a government that was trying to suppress lawful protest which challenged them and written in a way not to harm their āfriendsā.

Interesting question. The proponents of this protest are claiming that thousands of farmers will be paying this tax, inferring that they will be paying extra tax and, therefore, passing on more than Ā£3m, which is rich from where I stand. The truth? Itās about Clarkson et al keeping their money.

I am most upset about the inequity here. Why should wealthy people be able to dodge taxes whilst less well off are often chased for underpaying. Also why are farmers allowed to block roads unchecked yet oil protesters get hefty prison sentences. Itās about time we had some social justice again.

When will they properly invest in northern railways rather than use sticking plasters? What is needed?
1. Upgraded (and new) stations with longer platforms.
2. More carriages on trains
3. A better/more reliable service
Not a lot to ask! London and the South East already has it, why not us?

He is absolutely correct! The GPs chose to be outside the NHS, at its inception, in order to earn more. They employ people, so why should they be exempt?

Worryingly two players have withdrawn from international duty because of injury and now another under the knife. Injury list growing. š±š

Criticism welcome. Is this a bit like Kepa at Brentford or Semenyo against Man City?

This probably not going to work but Iāll start with Brentford.
Previous: As far as I can recall there were no pies previously.
Pie: Steak and ale
Heat: Tepid
Taste: Lacked a bit of interest
Pastry: Not cooked through
Overall: It was a bit like London by flattering to deceive
Score (/10): 4

So should we (note I said we) promote the idea that fans give critique of the pies on their away visits to various grounds? Do we start small with AFCB only?

I think we ought to set up a football stadium pie appreciation group! I just donāt know how to do it.
