Now if they’d just add a Mix control it would have everything!

Great vid! I still can’t quit CompressorBank largely because of the EQ panel on the right that nobody seems to talk about. A little dynamic cut in the upper mid does wonders for smoothing out a vocal as it gets loud, since it’s based on the compression amount rather than frequency like a dynamic EQ.

Sennheiser 602 inside and Shure KSM353 outside (not in front of the port since it’s a ribbon)

Yeah, I think so too, but boy does it feel like we are being ignored. Certainly Trump won’t give a shit.

I’m going, but I have zero faith that we will be listened to. Not by Democrats, and certainly not by Republicans.

When there’s an especially loud vehicle I like to yell after them “Sorry about your penis!”

I like open world too, but it feels a little silly, particularly for a track racing game. Maybe we can make the next Smash Bros open world too 😜

I think it’s hilarious that they have taken the success of Zelda open world approach to mean everything should be open world. DK? Go anywhere! Climb anything! Smash anything! Dig anywhere! Mario Kart? Drive anywhere off course! Drive to another course! We heard you like open world!

Maybe our humanity and our empathy comes from having at least a little bit of struggle. They just never had to be part of humanity.

Yeah at least the Satanic Temple is. They use Satan as a symbol for standing up to church oppression, but they don’t worship or believe in a literal Satan.

There were so many more, but we got those and we can all remember one of the best songwriting mentors to walk the Hill Country. Still think about you all the time old friend.

So I’m doing it now, finally. We released a couple songs as a preview on the anniversary, and I’ll have the rest soon. They aren’t fancy or produced recordings, and you can hear that he had some better days than others, but we have twelve songs that haven’t existed for a while.

He knew he might not have a lot of time left, and so did we. I regret that it’s taken a decade to get back to these, but, well, life you know. It was too raw at first, and then time just runs off.

Actually it looks like Tidal has reduced their price to be about the same as Apple and Spotify! Might be time to hop back on it.

One thing I miss about Tidal is that you can search by credit. So like, want to look up stuff done by a producer? A mixer? A bassist? You can do that. The downside is they have to have the credits actually listed, which somehow even major labels are terrible at doing.
comment in response to post
Yes! Tidal is really good. I’ve jumped between it and Apple a bit. Currently on Apple just for budget but I kind of like the Tidal app better I think.

🤣 That is perfectly ok! Enjoy the dopamine! She can be surprised later when she finds out you’re a celebrity after liking you for you. Fifty thumbs up 👍

I worked in restaurants with bartenders and some definitely act flirty for better tips, but also they’re people and sometimes they actually like someone! Just be respectful and that’s all one can do! Plus using the Brak voice, obviously. “Heeeeyyy don’t you know who I am?!”
