If witches are not real, burning people at the stake for witchcraft is abhorrent backwards superstitious bigotry. If witches are real, my issues re: stake burnings are more process oriented and centered around evidence, due process, and proportionality.

More details here from CBS. This comes as ICE massively ramped up "re-arrest" operations nationwide, picking up people at court appearances and check-ins — people who had been COMPLYING.

According to Rep. Jimmy Gomez, ICE has had to stand up tends next to the federal building and is forcing people to sleep outside. Inside the building, lights go off at 5:00PM, leaving families alone in the DARK, where they've had to wait for over 12 hours to get food or WATER.
