I very much wish the media would stop using “stranded” in headlines since Butch & Suni were never stranded. They returned per the timeline NASA determined would maximize safe return while maximizing contribution to the ISS mission. Butch & Suni’s extended stay was a HUGE win for ISS

Butch & Suni were NEVER stranded on ISS and have been a huge asset to science on board the ISS. NASA made the right call to extend their stay.
