This time of year, I'm always fascinated by how many of my friends/acquaintances seem constantly sunburnt. Of course, a lot of them are the same ones who used tanning beds in high school/college so I'm not too surprised. But I'm over here always checking the UV and slathering on sunscreen.

Johnathan Joss died a hero. He was murdered for being gay, he went out protecting his trans husband from being executed. They burned down their home and killed their pets and then they murdered Joss while trying to murder his husband. The New York times can barely muster "fatally shot." I hate this.
