I can value someone as a person and not want anything to do with them if their values conflict with my own. Because you end a friendship doesn’t mean you don’t value them as a person. It means that for whatever reason their behavior means you want nothing to do with them.

What’s frustrating is that all news reporting is supposed to be free of bias and strictly be reporting the facts of the situation and nothing more. The idea of shame is lost on these people.
