Love this idea! We've had a #wasplove campaign going on for a while, mostly focused on social wasps. There are a few papers by colleagues about ecosystem services. And parasitoids are awesome, so definitely need good PR too!

Thanks for spreading the love for Strepsiptera! The larvae are quick to disperse from their parasite mama, so one has to catch them at very specific times to photograph. Stay tuned for cool updates about how they manipulate their wasps hosts 😀

I’d recommend the areas around Rincón de la Viejo/ RÃo Celeste. Sensoria is amazing, worth the day trip. Tons of eco lodges in both areas. I’ll ask around since now I’m home and DM you
