SLA should have & did where I helped as CRO at a boutique IT firm in NYC in 2014- 10+ years ago. We offered remote monitoring of at least " on- off" and location for AV sometimes more for ANY - SLA- that demanded service within X amount of time. So YES, all SLA now should have some remote provision

They are so close. Was probably all discussed and planned to make DT dirtbag look cleaner. Guy is just a disgusting human

We were first to use" MOTION" Slate Tablets as our Control system and just outright Trojan horse into IT dept. in the late 80's /90's. Old, 3 gun video beam TV's was the floor that I opened to get into what became business presentation display systems.

Bundling and branding unique solutions was a cornerstone of how we were considered an innovator and leader. Also basic business leadership principles that matter for any time in one's business timeline. Also strategic "Sell through partners" that were critical in scaling the company!!

I had zero mentors or friends in the AV business. What I did have was a great entrepreneur as a Father who I did listen to and model so much of my life & business career around. Great gift.

Clearly depends on your job and needs. As CEO I required sales and SE to visit xyz booths w products we had discussed prior to the event as well as know what client or prospects are at the show and offer to bring them to xyz. Always some free time and evenings to do whatever. Meeting our manf reps

It seems like the easiest ecosystem to enter from my lens. Determine what your skills are, or what interests you most and desire to learn. Write then call with an apprentice humility to the right person and be honest about your willingness to learn.

Leasing ( not leading sorry-AC)
comment in response to post
A lease is a lease. A long term rental is a rental. A Service Contract is a Service contract with SLA specific to clients request & monitoring I'd hope. It's all an EXPENSE. CapEx I own it, depreciate it.... AVaaS is nonsense to conform to aaS platform success.
comment in response to post
Correct
comment in response to post
After evaluation of CPE you create an SLA just like it has always been. Ideally it is a 2-3 year monthly contract. The client/ prospect is going to do diligence on your company just like any other contract. How does a salesperson sell trust ordinarily?
comment in response to post
Why try to convince them , leasing is leading, it's not a bad word. It is what it is, lease with an SLA that includes xyz.
