Totally misread the scale on this and now can't stop thinking how the second half of ben hur would really have benefited from some giant crabs terrorising people.

Describing Starmer as "centre left" should be punishable by that medieval thing where they put you in a sack with the contents of that old woman who swallowed a fly's stomach.

Honestly if I win the lottery whilst this is still rattling round my head then its getting made (all the budget will go on rights and it will be made for about 5 grand which is as it should be).

Of fucking course.

This is the Mario film Bob Hoskins deserved.

Divorced 2005 so hope it worked out the other way round and she rinsed him.

If you mentally shave Edmonds whilst he's talking than he starts to have the same vibes as James Corden.

I made it through 4 minutes but there's too high a Edmonds to Wigan ratio for me to press on any further.

Wholly committed hater of the man signing right up, his only redeemable feature was that he wasn't Bruce Forsythe and he's dead now so it's no longer a positive.
comment in response to post
Sadly I don't think it would surprise anyone I know cos they've all heard me try to sing everything else.

Look after yourself.

This is just sensible recycling.

Gee guess this happening every single fucking year is fine then, going to go and burn some plastic in my back yard and cook some burgers on it.

I mean I think we all know why... Always been a big fan because for some reason it's the only musical genre I'm not totally shit at on sing star etc.

I work in a stand alone building tha'ts mostly just offices. I did find a secret big sink behind a random door a while ago though so if I was at work I could sit in that.

Yeah it really does, there's some super smart tracks, like its startingly honest in a way I don't think a lot of stuff is if that makes sense?

Innit, I felt actually embarrassed for some parts when I saw it.

Yeah, its real been drinking in the park for several hours and realising you're incredibly dehydrated vibes for me.

The last thing I saw of his was the 2nd trainspotting, a film about middle aged men trying to reclaim past glories but not in the way he thinks it is.

Special mention given to Kano's T-Shirt weather in the Manor which does the same thing but lyrically.

I mean you can't help family but also he hasn't come out and told the world any of the terrible and embarrassing Owen Smith facts that clearly exist so yeah...

Honestly I think its pathetic given how media literate he is, the guy's a millionaire, knows how this stuff works, never has to work again and if he had any integrity he could have just gone super fucking brutal calling people pricks on YouTube or something.
comment in response to post
No it was just me being very middle aged sadly.

I dunno, I think in the 00s it did actually have a direction cos it was hate turned towards a hateful culture and he could be quite clever on that level (like the original nathan barely was brutal but in a totally necessary way). But yeah he's far too content for it now, he should have failed more.

Obviously 'new' doing some incredibly heavy lifting here, this is mostly for my own psychological wellbeing.

Yeah, I think the first one had the advantage of being years of work getting an outlet and then it shifted into him having to churn out however many episodes a year and them all feeling a bit contrived (although some of the first season did as well).
comment in response to post
Its been a while since I've watched them to be fair but I remember preferring the new OL to the new TZ, I think cos it seemed to lean more into its origins rather than try to be too 90s.
comment in response to post
The 90s outer limits was good though.

I think the first season was fine but after that it was all just a bit meh or actively shit, like the sci-fi equivalent of banksy. He was good cos he was full of rage & bile & hate but he's clearly become happy & comfortable & its ruined him and led to him just becoming another dinner part guy.

Really love how publications really would just let anyone have a go back then.

Oh yeah I'm going into this 100% eyes wide open.
