This is so frustrating. I didn't end up using Seek. It felt very... privacy invasive. The way they used your data, it seemed like this was inevitable. It's great for connecting nature lovers and outdoorsy people in a local community. But even something like that isn't safe. Nothing is safe anymore.

Right! After they aquired them I'm thankful they prioritized data collection over having a functional product. I didn't need a useful fitness device anyway. It keeps my wrist warm though!

It's quite true! And I'd say it even goes beyond art too! It's ok to have crappy art or make mistakes. Each attempt is a lesson and a learning opportunity to get better and better.

Every skill will come with hard work. It's up to you to use that time to learn. I poured so much time into video games that netted me nothing in the end. I wish I spent a fraction of that time towards art or blender. I won't dwell on it, but I'll use the time I have to keep learning.

This is really well written! I have a lot of folks using AI in my field, but I find a lot of them detached from their work. For example, management uses AI to respond to emails and whatnot. Most of the time they are clueless when I bring up a previous issue that was emailed about days ago. It sucks.
