I've been protesting since 1969, and I have NEVER seen a sign-sheet.
In recent years, some protests have asked participants to register online, but lots of us choose not to, and some who do register don't actually show up.

Most of this is ableist. It makes the most physically vulnerable participants even MORE vulnerable. Not everyone can get back up from the ground quickly and/or without help. (Actually, not everyone can get from standing to sitting on the ground easily, either.)
#2 and 4 are good.

"Walton, 76, isn’t involved in the company or the trusts that hold the family’s stake. She married one of founder Sam Walton’s sons, John, and inherited some of his wealth..."

And on the video I saw, the first words out of his mouth were, "I'm Senator Padillo"!

I started to respond, but then I read your other comments in this thread, and I think I'll just block you instead.

The major protests on Saturday are deliberately going to be all over the country EXCEPT in DC. But Gov. Moore has several locations to choose from in MD, and I hope he shows up at one.

Huh? No one uses Israeli to mean Jewish. Israeli, as a noun, means a citizen of Israel. As an adjective, it describes something to do with Israel -- Israeli food, Israeli art, the Israeli flag, Israeli drivers, whatever. That's it.

Very soon. Like before Saturday.

Sorry, didn't mean foreground. On the far right, next to the embassy.

Thanks! I was there, mostly in the little park in the right foreground, next to the embassy.

Of course there have been protests this big in the US. This is Washington, DC. Closest building on the right is the Canadian embassy. I see several references to guns on the signs, so it might've been the March for Our Lives in 2018.

Watch again: one officer did stop him. (I'm not excusing the ones that didn't.)

Still not an excuse to vandalize the property of a random Jew. Bye.
comment in response to

Vandalizing the property of a random American Jew to make a point about the policies and actions of the Israeli government is antisemitic.

Why are you calling the protests "riots", when you know they're not riots?

Whether you like the idea or not, "human beings" include all the people we disapprove of and all the people who do despicable things.

And nobody in this terrible bubble has told me, "Shut up, Jew," in a thread totally unrelated to Jews, Judaism, Israel, etc.

Google just told me that "no solar" translates to "non-solar". lol

I have never understood the bubble or echo chamber argument. Do these critics think we don't have lives elsewhere, both on and offline? That we don't interact with other people and views elsewhere?

It's not 50% of the country; it's 50% of the people who actually voted in 2024. Let's not make the awful reality even worse than it is.
