the beach buses (the 78, 63, and 72) and the Navy Pier buses (the 65, 66, 124 and 29) are all disasters in the summer bc everyone tries driving to the lakefront and creates gridlock and the people with the power to fix this problem don't care about their constituents who take the bus

had a similar thought watching them flounder tonight

We basically just don't talk about it and I tilt windmills while they probably don't think about it at all

I knew they were nasturtium, pretty proud of that!

Maybe it should be!

but sir...my bus

I wouldn't count any of that as proof of purchase

I refuse to inform the police about my bikes and don't expect them to give a shit about them when they're stolen, either

Shop should be including that on receipts imo

Right, I don't have any way of proving somebody gave me a sick pinarello this off-season but it's definitely mine

Receipt for the frame is what I'd say. I have that for my latest build. I don't have anything to prove I bought my wife's bike, or my single speed (the beater.) I don't think I have one for my e-bike anymore ๐Ÿ˜…

where do I go to see these lil guys? Will my 10x binoculars be enough to get a good view?

I think it'll just be a trail, if they can get the remaining industrial use off the spur. Re: South Shore Line, the biking thataway is actually pretty dang good and only getting better. There'll be a full separated path nearly all the way to Michigan in a few years, if I'm recalling correctly

Really though: whichever one your local bike store has and recommends is probably your best bet. Are you a Perennial guy?

This is the exact one that I have and was highly recommended to me. It's lasted over 5 years, fantastically. Mostly metal construction ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

there's a community-proposed rail to trail in NW Chicago that is receiving pushback from the train fans bc they think it'll sacrifice any potential future L expansion on the ROW. it's a pretty simple why not both situation in my opinion...

watching them expand with great excitement!
