Sinister and Adric is a synonym. ( I only found out what that word meant today, and I've been dying to use it!) I thought it was a type of yummy bun.

Great story. Hated to see Tegan go.

Ooooh... that's very sinister, Grunty.

Must give it a look soon. It's years since I felt oddly sordid.๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Long time since I last saw this, so overdue a rewatch. Boris looking very frail in this, but still turns in a performance to remember.

Still planning to reduce/stop the disability benefit for many thousands of the most vulnerable in our society though.

That's a very Doctor-ish look from Mr W.

On the other hand, I watched some ducks eating chips. Quite life affirming.

I'm presuming your remark is because of the current situation in LA? If that's the case, then you're being ridiculous.

It's too derivate of 'Beast From 20,000 Fathoms', and it's a lacklustre end to O'Briens marvellous career. Still, very enjoyable in its own right.

A clever and complex story. Perfectly suited to Sylvester's Doctor.

I'll bet the Commander doesn't like soggy chips?

I'm 4 episodes in, and really enjoying it. It's tense and gripping, with a great cast led by the always superb Iain Glen. Some great sfx too, which compliment the story rather than overwhelm it. This is certainly something that would stand rewatches in the future.

Not an official release.

Oh, I can understand the love for Rogue One. It's a fantastic movie. I was hoping Andor would capture some of the same excitement though.

Great movie, but despite the divine Barbara, I wouldn't swap it for the original TV version.

A fantastic movie that's just a little bit let down by the ending. I know the director had a different end in mind, but budgetary and technical constraints made it impossible.

It was a clever way for smaller studios to improve the look of their movie. Rent out unused sets from the big boys. And recycling is a good thing as we know.

It's Poverty Row, but it looks terrific. Includes sets from Frankenstein and my all-time favourite, The Old Dark House. A smashing little movie.

There's a J- Cloth. Nearest I've ever got to fame.

There's an Emm convention.?!๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Only if you played the film backwards.

It's not especially faithful to Poe, but it certainly catches the atmosphere of his work. It's a very long time since I saw this, but curiously I remember it as being in colour.

One of the best Hammer movies of the 70s. Nice to see a more prominent role for Valerie Leon too.

Somehow it passed me by completely even though it looks the sort of programme that I'd love. And "the right side of baffling" will suit me fine๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I always ignored these Public Information Films, and despite being blown up, hit by a car & train, drowned and locked in an abandoned fridge for several months - it never did me any harm!

Full of quotable lines. I tried the drinking game once, but I was too much of a lightweight.

Ah, Ghost Story starring Vivian MacKerrill, who famously was the inspiration for the character Withnail in 'Withnail & I'. Now he was a character!

Weeks had two goes at telling the the Arthurian legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in '73 & '84. Both terrifically entertaining movies, as was the more recent version with Dev Patel.

Now this is long overdue a rewatch from me. A very confident debut from director Stephen Weeks, despite budgetary problems.

Is that woman still acting? Well, when I say 'acting', you know what I mean.

The so-called 'Spanish Dracula', made at the same time and with the same sets, is so much better.

I came home after seeing it and had an immediate rewatch of the 40s Universal movie. When life gets disappointing, I seek solace in B&W.
