I am watching colleagues' classrooms turn into Dead Internet versions of school. Teachers use AI to create lessons which assign work to students who then use AI to complete it before it is turned in and assessed by AI. No humans effort required to produce gradebook entries.

Having now officially been on the receiving end of Bluesky ratio, I really don't get what the big deal is. All those posts and opinion pieces whining about how bad and intolerant and awful this site is look even more pathetic in retrospect.

I knew what I was getting into for attacking a sacred cow, but I'm still somewhat surprised at how virulent yet inane the criticism I'm getting is. Aside from the irrelevant ad hominem attacks, the arguments in defense of Bouie are simply weak, bearing little regard to the reality of his work.
