I heard that today was the economic boycott I’ve been hearing about. Something I’ve been doing the last couple of months that’s slightly related, but for purely financial reasons - pledge a certain number of days to spend no money. My goal right now is a minimum of 2 days a week spend NOTHING.

Literally just filled half a garbage bag w/things found in the house that went to other things we long since got rid of or donated. Simultaneously doubled the size of our donation pile. Spent a chunk of the day organizing paperwork and getting rid of lots. The deep purge of the house is real.

No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment. One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.
