Since I would imagine you are now looking for a more palatable alternative to the Expos book, I might recommend "The Boys of Summer" by Roger Kahn as a wonderful (older) look into a team that really connected with its community in a way you don't see anymore.

This was really nice, Lindsey. I went to college with Sarah and had the great pleasure of sharing a history seminar all about baseball and American culture with her. It was the best. Her zest for baseball (and for life) shone through every day, just like it does now.

Trading Morant would be a fool's errand. The Grizzlies have never had a player with his dynamism and drawing one to that market is a major challenge. I don't think there's a lot of reshaping that needs to be done. Also: renouncing Aldama would be crazy, he's been a huge piece of the leap forward.
