It's great when well kept cask is under a 5er and decent keg is under 6.50ish nowadays. Some pubs, in particular chains, are just taking the mick nowadays, though ...

I always think it's a shame when events ban food. Some of these so-called 'street food' outlets are so expensive now as to be almost unaffordable. Just my opinion, but people generally get searched anyway, so where is the harm in bringing a sarnie in. There is never a cheaper option at these things.

Coffee is riduculously expensive for what is essentially a spoon full of coffee and some milk. Beer is a unique thing that takes years of practice to perfect. Always happy to pay for a quality product ...

It is all well and good saying "vote Labour or get Reform", but the vast majority of people don't think about politics that way. Through its current course of action Labour won't gain seats from Reform, but they will lose people who may otherwise have supported them. That is not the fault of voters.
