It would only be a reverse-Rice if Liam Delap had played senior football for England several times before deciding to switch, which he hasn't.

Well, no it doesn't because you're claiming to remember multiple events that didn't happen.

Pedant's corner: England have beaten Andorra by 6 goals once and never beaten them by 7 or more.

😂😂😂😂😂 Nope.

Haha, no problem. I hope things pick up for you. 😂

It's not compulsory. And the match is today.

Fair enough.

You think we were all jealous of City? Dear lord. 😂

It's certainly very clever.

Stops the oppo doing their long throw routine. If your ÂĢ15m per annum manager or his celebrated set-piece coach had thought of it, Arsenal wouldn't have have lost against Bournemouth. 😉

This is amazing. Thank you. ðŸĨ°

He'll be long gone

Yes, but they would almost certainly get slaughtered week in and week out next season if they go up. Who wants that apart from the Saudi lot?

By no means the gotcha you seem to think it is. Hard to win a penalty shootout if you get beaten in both legs of the tie.

So you can say with absolute certainty that Arsenal would have won every game in which a contentious refereeing decision went against them, if it hadn't gone against them? If so, presumably the same can be said of the other teams around them at the top of the table?

I have no problem with him and beyond that, while I keep flip-flopping on the matter, I currently think Sunderland would be far better off in the Championship for at least another season.

It's impossible to verify anything that is based entirely on speculation, paranoia + wild conjecture. And i am not a Liverpool fan.

"Don't expect me to take you serious" says person who thinks referees cost Arsenal 21 points. ðŸĪŠðŸĪŠðŸĪŠ

That's one interpretation. Here's another: Liverpool won the title this season when everybody (except me) expected Arsenal to finish ahead of them. By contrast, Arsenal are serial losers who step Sideshow Bob-style on every rake that's put in front of them and get slapped in the face by the handle.

They have lost two semi-finals this season and are 15 points off first in the Premier League.

I've thought carefully and unless I'm mistaken, this season this team has been beaten in both legs of two semi-finals and are 15 points off the pace in the Premier League.

"Compete" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there in reference to a team that has lost four semi-finals in a row and is 15 points off the pace in the league.

They're doing great, thanks. Having punched above their weight all season, they have just lost five in a row without dropping a single place in the league. And unlike Arsenal, they have a *massive* game coming up.

"Arsenal to be applauded ..."

Even that wouldn't have been a humbling, given the context.

Ah, them. The headline in no way reflects what was actually said.

I didn't say that.

Well done for getting over the line. Was nip and tuck there for a while on weekend one. @barcajim3.bsky.social
