Dit gaat lijnrecht in tegen het Eerste Amendement en de diepgewortelde Amerikaanse traditie van persvrijheid. Juridisch is er nauwelijks ruimte voor zo’n stap, en elke poging zou vrijwel zeker ongrondwettelijk worden verklaard.
