We are also praying for the full recovery of Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, who were injured. I spoke with Governor Walz early this morning and let him know the people of Illinois stand with the people of Minnesota.

we had some pretty good tasting stuff from the southern end of Illinois (the Shawnee Hills), none of the standard grapes from the west coast but they know what grows well and how to make wine from it.
(Scratch Brewing and hiking were our main reasons for going but hit several wineries)
