So is he just on a lucky streak right now or did he change something this year? It hasn’t looked like he’s been consistently getting favorable calls so I don’t think this is an ump thing.

Now, it’s possible Mis lobbied for it and said he was feeling great and wanted to go back on the mound and Murphy is a players guy so that could have been enough for him to let it happen. Just felt like it was a risk not worth taking at that point.

This was actually my argument AGAINST having him come back in.. he wasn’t finishing the game anyway, game was well in hand at that point, and your golden arm just cooled off for 35 minutes sitting on the bench, I didn’t really see a point for him to come back out but, again, it’s whatever for me.

I think it’s fair to question whether he should have went back out there after such a long break, or be left in after walking a guy with his fastball down 5 mph and being very wild but it’s pretty meh to me either way.

Obviously more money helps in some situations but I’m a firm believer that, once you reach a certain salary, the extra money doesn’t really make a difference because it just goes to more crap you don’t need. Be happy with what you make and build your lifestyle around it, more money isn’t the answer.

The only cheese I really draw the line at is the aerosol stuff but if you give me a box of chicken and a biscuit crackers I will crush an entire can and feel fine about it.

No brat has high quality cheese in them, just like the real white meat chicken in nuggets doesn’t make it high quality.. but it tastes delicious and that’s all I really care about when eating.

Yeah and I do agree with BA when he said some pressure may be off now. Obviously you would have liked to see him not give up runs but it may help him settle in a bit without everyone asking about a streak going forward.
