Every time Condoleeza Rice is mentioned, I just think of her saying that the top threat to American and European interests was Russia and her being mocked for it by her own people.
So it was always a clown shoe shit show.

Traditionally, the omelette is a light meal eaten mid-day or in the evening.
Eat whatever you want, whenever you like.

While the Kurt McFall case is nothing to laugh about, a 1988 Unsolved Mysteries episode about it features a ridiculous dramatisation of his father entering his bedroom and surveying a nightmarish tableau of D&D books, notes, and dice laid out in the open and telling the tale of his fall to satan.

She seems neat. And I have loved Thunder Rosa since her first AEW appearance. Immediately putting them together for multiple matches is just absolute joy.

Mox was in the first AEW PPV, had Punk’s number with the fragile ego promo, sells for people like he is dying, and puts Marina Shafir over like it is his full time job.
What’s not to like?

Drats, can't help with that. I have a non-pro 3 set, charger and right ear bud, which I don't need and got excited.

He was the Captain America trained to view the enemy as less than human and told that was what loving and defending your country meant. All within the context of an insanely bloated and hostile US military. And he had to step back, reassess, and rediscover his humanity.
Hell of a symbol.

Don Callis had the SEGA Channel and made a point of telling everyone at school so he could say no when anyone asked if they could come over to play it.

They just had Anna Jay return to squash Taylor Gainey/T-Gainz in her AEW debut, followed by Megan Bayne squashing Anna Jay.
I hated it but only mention it now b/c it feels like they backed off building Bayne by having tedious squash matches and instead she has a run of proper matches. Which I love.

One of my favourite things about women's wrestling under AEW is seeing midcard talent and guests come in, have great matches with a champ, who then says "damn you are pretty good."
What the hell kind of burying is that.

Being with me is like caressing stone and falling through time, which is why I call my business Outlander?

San Diego is a port city with a mild Mediterranean climate and nearby mountains that see snow every year. Easy living if you want it.
But it is also on the Mexico border so dorks tell themselves they ARE living Blackhawk down.

I thought Collision was the missable one or at least the B show, but they keep booking essential matches with my favourites.
And they have plenty of talent to do that with a third show.

Some* would say an opinel is a girl's best friend, but also notable is this wee baby pliers set made by Knipex. Who knew handiness could be so adorable.

You are the first person I have seen say anything and I have been quietly outraged by how quietly she has been allowed to slip away.
Until a few years ago she was still quite visible and accessible. Hell, I interacted with her on Twitter.
She must not be treated as some ghost of a forgotten age.

[pushes that accursed film into the sea, banishing it from Earth and memory]
Simon Stålenhag is wonderfully talented and I adore his five books and the three Fria Ligan TTRPGs (Tales from the Loop/Things from the Flood, The Electric State) drawing from them using the Year Zero Engine.

Here is Miyu Yamashita (TJPW) vs Speedball Mike Bailey (AEW), two monster kickers who are completely mad.

I think anyone can do quite well watching AEW and then looking up matches elsewhere with anyone who catches their eye. That will be top people from CMLL and NJPW/Stardom, sure, but also a good assortment who appeared in various indie promotions in the last 5+ years.

Of course! I have so many more to share, but already felt like I posted way too many times in that thread.

I don’t watch the show anymore or even follow news about it, but I heard about this because The Thing was spoiled immediately by a BBC news post about it.
Sounds crazy, I hope they pull it off.

I don’t watch anymore but I agree that is an absolutely mad thing to just post like it was a minor behind the scenes story.

That's funny. I only know Johnnie Walker from American cop shows and films where people make a big deal of a bottle of blue label as a gift. So of course I thought it was American.

Honourable mention: Minnesota's own @f1rstwrestling.bsky.social, which Priscilla Kelly will be returning to this September.

It is still Stardom, no question. But I am loving the AEW-CMLL-NJPW partnership, so those two are worth keeping an eye on for me as well.
And then you have Marigold as the hot upstart in women's wrestling.

And that antisocial chant just FEELS good.

I would say the same thing about the Wonder Woman game, which was also cancelled along with its studio being shut down.

I just introduced a friend to AEW/women's wrestling, and right before DoN CM Punk came up explaining why Adam Page is THE guy and ... I honestly didn't realise I still felt so strongly and went on a rant about him.
We have too many people who are everything he pretends to be. So glad he is gone.

There truly was an amazing run for a while. And then I was around to actually see them as they were released, so I guess it was time to stop.
This is fine.
