Interesting but dispiriting interview. This confirms the White House Press Pool is toothless. They don’t want to get thrown out so questions and acceptance of answers are lame. Karoline Leavitt’s lie-fest would make Joseph Goebbels blush. The Pool seems completely cowed by her.

But my 3 second insect brain says tariffs are lower than 145% so that’s good, right?

Great message, poor messengers. When Senators or Representatives get interviewed on the news I have to turn to some other station. The delivery has no energy. Please, old people, retire.

Paul Weiss will forever make me think “bitch.” Trump’s extortion bitch.

As one who protests at a Tesla dealer on weekends, it’s not about Tesla. It’s about Elon using his money to buy influence and reduce the Republican congress to sheep. If Tesla dumped Elon I’d buy Tesla.

I’d wear a trench coat too in a White House shit storm.

They are so weak at this point. Hope the Dems show solidarity.

Still waiting for MAGA to have that a-ha moment. I’ll know when they start breathing through their nose.

Pure cruelty. At least China is filling the gap as the world’s humanitarian.

This feels like we are living “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy” on the verge of answering the one big question when all research and knowledge gets obliterated. Thank 47 for not getting to 42.

Fox is spinning this as the point where this great deal maker negotiates. Delusional.

I protest at the local Tesla dealer on Saturdays. It’s not the cruel people but the cruel actions I’m protesting. Farmers are already local manufacturing, jobs, and a major export of the US.

I think sheesh, how are they going to make this guest funny? The guests are always surprisingly funny.

For consistency, I’m adding a not very insightful and frankly inane Bluesky response. LinkedIn likes are for recruiter eyes. Bluesky likes are because it’s a good article.

I sense it in the op-ed comments. I have gone from thousands recommends to submitted but unpublished comments on op-ed pieces. You have to be aligned with Times group think I’m afraid. Pamela Paul wasn’t aligned with group think and is no longer published. Sad the Times is stuck in its vortex.

I had to turn on Fox News at noon to see how they spin this. Happy Liberation day and a passing mention of some stock market activity. This bold move is the start of the negotiation they said. Which means Fox is at bargaining in the five stages of grief.

Thiessen used to be a toy for Wapo. Like Jennings is on CNN. But now that Wapo editorial has moved to the dark lord, Thiessen just doesn’t bring the same cute counter point anymore.
