The great Ramona Fradon left us a year ago. To memorialize her, here are a couple of her commissions of Wonder Woman.

I've spend 30 days posting pics of what our comic heroes were made to do. Inspire us to fight evil. We don't all have to be out there beating up bad guys, but remember fighting evil starts small. Hold that door for someone, compliment your neighbor, do charity work. Remember, hate has no home here.

JSA for the Day - Special No, the Joker was never in the JSA. He is a self-described criminal lunatic, but even he has his limits.

JSA for the Day - Special Back to the summer of 1943 and here is Batman giving the boy wonder a lesson in beating up the bad guys. (I don't remember 'PLUNK' being a Batman punch noise, but whatever)

JSA for the Day - Special The Red Tornado is an android who was merged with a sentient tornado from the planet Rann (yeah, things got weird back in the silver age of comics). Despite his peculiar origin, he certainly knows right from wrong. Here he is beating up a guy with a silly mustache.

JSA for the Day - Special Today we're bouncing over to the Freedom Fighters. If there ever was a character who was built to do this job, it's Uncle Sam. As Superman gets his powers from our yellow sun, Sam gets his from Patriotism. Here's a couple cells of him giving Baron Blitzkrieg a sok on the jaw.

JSA for the Day - Special Now I'm just cheating. Go get 'em Midnighter.

JLA for the day - Special Here we see Michael Holt, the second Mr. Terrific coming after this bad guy with his T-spheres.

JSA for the Day - Special Running late again today, so here's a JLA for the day. The Atom kicking Jetpack Hitler in the teeth.

JSA for the Day - Special I got so excited seeing the bunny in the backyard I almost forgot my duty here. So, today we see Rick Tyler, son of the original Hourman taking up the mantle of his father as Hourman II. Still doing the same work beating up one of Per Detegon's goons.

I'd like to welcome comic writer extraordinaire, creator of Black Lightning and Black Goliath, co-creator of Misty Knight, Inkpot and Goethe award winner to the LGBTQ community. Congratulations on finding your true self at 73 Jenny Isabella.

JSA for the Day - Special Yz the Genie a.k.a. Thunderbolt and his master, Johnny Thunder. Johnny only needs to utter the word Cei-U and Yz appears to do his bidding. Here, Johnny's command is completely clear.

JSA for the Day - Special Because a friend mentioned Ted Knight, I figured we better give him some time. Here we have the original Starman taking care of what I can only assume are the predecessor to the Tesla robots.

JSA for the Day - Special Jack Knight, Starman and (checks notes) Hellboy teaming up to take out the bad guys. Art by Mike Mignola

JSA for the Day - Special The Ghost who walks, the Phantom. Here we see the Phantom beating up some guy with a bad haircut.

JSA for the Day - Special Back to Wonder Woman again because I absolutely love this page. She punched a tank. A TANK!

JSA for the Day - Special Not to be outdone by Captain Marvel, Billy Batson. Here we have Freddy Freeman, Capt. Marvel Jr., giving this guy a sock in the kisser.

JSA for the Day - Special Just say the word. Captain Marvel's been fighting bad guys since before he was with DC.

JSA for the Day - Special As I find my way back to DC comics, I'm making a pit stop at Fox Comics with Dan Garrett, the original Blue Beetle. Here he is giving a pop on the jaw to this guy with a silly mustache.

JSA for the Day - Special Running a little behind this morning, so JSA for the day takes a left turn into the Marvel universe this morning. Here's our favourite Canadian, the old Canucklehead dispatching some bad guys who seems to be speaking German, for some reason.

JSA for the Day - Special Today we get the classic team-up of Jay Garrick, the Flash and and Alan Scott, Green Lantern whooping up on the bad guys.

JSA for the Day - Special Today is the first day of Black History Month (and I really should have saved the Mr. Terrific for today) so we're going to get a JLA for the Day. Here we have Static Shock dealing with a bunch of bad guys the best way he can ⚡️These guys were trying to break up his Bar-B-Q.

JSA for the Day - Special Rex Tyler, the man of the hour, Hourman; making his feelings perfectly clear to this criminal.

JSA for the Day - Special Michael Holt, the second Mr. Terrific showing these bad guys some Fair Play.

JSA for the Day - Special Here we see Hawkman dealing some Golden Age justice to a bad guy. Hawkman might be the hero with the most confusing backstory as it was rewritten several times, but no matter the incarnation Hawkman always stands for good. Art by Sheldon Moldoff

JSA for the Day - Special Today we feature one of the most powerful characters in the DC universe. The manifestation of God's wrath, the spirit of vengeance, The Spectre. Here he doesn't just punch the bad guys, he sank their battleship.

JSA for the Day - Special 2 for 1 today with Black Canary and The Red Tornado, Ma Hunkel giving these criminals a beating.

JSA for the Day - Special Today we feature the most powerful magic user in the DC universe, Doctor Fate. Here he is just using his fists to dispatch these bad guys. Art by Dick Giordano

JSA for the Day - Special Edition Probably my favorite superhero. Just three issues into his own comic in the Spring of 1942 and look at him, bare knuckles not even using his ring. Cover art by Mart Nodell.

Day 3, JSA for the day - Special Edition The third part of the Trinity, Diana of Themiscara, first female superhero and member of the JSA; Wonder Woman. Another superhero that arrived in 1941 to help the Allies fight the Germans. This cover by Adam Hughes was titled "Achtung, Baby!"

Since we're starting at the beginning, day 2 goes to Batman. Art by Dick Giordano

I promised pictures of our heroes doing what they do best, what they were created to do. I figured it would be good to start at the beginning, with Superman.

Well... it's frozen over.
