Maybe California should finally consider seceeding from the union. Seems like the California pays a disproportionate amount of taxes that fund the red states that hate it. If the Republicans hate it so much, let those states quit leeching off the successful ones and go it alone

Perhaps you can’t appreciate how disrespectful and offensive your president’s comments with regards to annexing Canada and disrespecting our (former) Prime Minister are. Very little of this is about tariffs. It’s up to Americans to fix this, and maybe they need to hurt a little bit.

I won’t. I work for a Houston based company, and I flat out told them that I refuse to travel there anymore. I can video conference in if required. So far I’ve avoided three work trips and one personal vacation to the states since February.

As a Canadian it’ll be a cold day in hell before I’ll set foot in the USA again. I don’t know what the hell is going on down there but the whole country seems to be going to shit

Because that’s what the American newspaper’s MAGA owner wants them to write

Edmonton Journal what a load of crap. Lorne is just writing what his American Post Media MAGA bosses tell him to, it’s a pathetic attempt to discredit the incoming Liberal Leader. We can tell you are scared because your pathetic paper is lashing out so desperately trying to smear his name

Funny, no mention of DOGE or Elon Musk in this article. It’s almost like CNN is trying to obfuscate Elon Musk’s involvement in all of this

He has no idea who he’s fucking with. We’re nice, we’re polite but we’re also staunchly Canadian and we will watch the USA destroy itself trying to exert its imperial dreams on our sovereign nation.
Like Americans, we’re armed too. We just don’t make a big production of it. But try us, FAFO

Considering the Tesla board is comprised of Musk family members and sycophants it’s very unlikely that will happen

He’s donated to HIS OWN charities and there’s no public record of what that money was actually used for. Given Musk’s penchant for greed and lack of any sort of empathy, it’s seriously doubtful his “donations” went to anything actually charitable

We have Starlink at our cabin in northern British Columbia and we won’t be reactivating it this spring when we go open the place up. Maybe companies like Eutelsat will provide us with an option for up there.

Problem is that the board is stacked with his family members and other bootlickers. They’ll never get rid of him.

Ol’ Wayne has a section of freeway named after him in Edmonton, Alberta. There is currently a petition to have his name removed for being a disgraceful anti-Canadian MAGA turd. He’s not “the great one”. He’s an old drunk who used to be good at hockey

We have owned a ‘22 Y since new, I’m very bullish on EV’s but I would never buy another Tesla. The disgraceful antics of the CEO aside, the car is not good quality, has not stood up well over three years and 100,000km, the tech is glitchy. The charging network is the only good thing about Tesla

What’s the point in that though ? The car has already been bought, aside for avoiding the stigma of driving it there’s not really much to gain from selling it.

We’re in Edmonton Canada. The weather and roads here are tough on cars. The Tesla has not stood up well to those conditions. Our Toyota 4Runner with 300,000 kms on it that we sold to buy the Tesla was a far superior vehicle in almost every way. Elon’s antics are just the icing on the cake for us

Yes lots of better options now. The technology will continue to improve.

Actually it was the range. It was advertised as having 530km, realistically on highway road trips it’s more like 350, but we take that car to some remote places so range was important.
The car has done its job but it really is a piece of shit. I miss our Toyota for the quality and longevity.

We bought the Y in 2022. At the time it was the best EV to suit our needs. 3 years and 50,000 km later, It’s poorly built, full of rattles and fit & finish imperfections, tech is glitchy and basic controls don’t work properly in certain conditions. I’m big on EV’s but will never buy another Tesla
