I rescued a couple of these poor babies from somewhere yesterday 💗 hopefully they will be happier as a hummingbird-feeder at my house!

American Rule of Acquisition #1: Never let efficiency get in the way of profit. The more Google tries to *monetize*, the more inefficient it gets for the consumer. Crap UX.

“Electrification has been touted as a silver bullet: an easy solution that alleviates the GHG burden from car owners worldwide. This isn’t the case. Extensive vehicle electrification only lowers emissions by a portion of what’s needed.” Via @wrirosscities.bsky.social itdp.org/2021/12/09/w...

“the electric car is here to save the car industry, not the planet” - that deserves to be shared more widely. 📍

I think it will turn out ok - she will speak positively about it to begin with until the FO phase begins, and she finds out that there isn't actually appetite to do what she has been saying. I think Carney is holding his tongue and letting her run, but knows full well the natural consequences.

Can all of the people who paid them or lost their businesses over the issue sue for damages? It's a hard bell to unring, but a lot of damage has been done.

Wowww, the men are not ok. 😬 And yes 3 chainsaws is reasonable if you have trees, pole chainsaw, little electric one and a larger big-tree bucker.

They might want to feed the hungry, but only as long as they have the opportunity to pass judgment and hold them hostage to dogma also. Plenty of "Christians" will fund these things through local churches or volunteer to make themselves feel good. But a nonjudgmental, secular option? No way.

In Canada this is a big part of what we Canadians are mad about with the tariffs - what it's doing to *you* all, for no good reason whatsoever. 😞 Like yes we are pissed at the Fanta Menace in general, but for me it's this--the stress and needless destruction of people, businesses, families. ❤️‍🩹

Oregon also needs to somehow sort the issue that it has progressive tastes and regressive taxation mindset. There is a huge "I hate taxes" / libertarian red-streak there that regularly torpedoes public works and programs.

Just west of Galway, either An Spidéal or more likely from the stone, just south of Black Head, like Fanore.

Although I agree with a lot of this, the problem with the "content model first" approach is that it expects or wants a static content model. This is like trying to get a static schema from Day 1 - ain't gonna happen. You need *a* content model but also some hypotheses in how it will stay or change.
