This was just the first step on a long road. You have a lot of work ahead of you now, and even after this POTUS is gone. Don’t let your democracy collapse any further, it’s in serious trouble.

I’m doing EXACTLY the same thing, just on the other side of the world here in northern Nova Scotia.

Sadly, Mr. Carney missed the obvious: Trump isn’t interested in buying - he just wants to take.

Me too - but with no time limit. I’m done.

I am so pleased that Mr. Fraser will be standing in my riding again, he’s exactly what an MP should be. He’s done a lot for our community and the country.

So you won’t mind if we cancel your citizenship then, eh?

It took me years to figure it out, but respect for others is the foundation of civility. Once you realise that everyone’s existence is every bit as valid as your own, then you and society can grow. Sadly, that’s lacking in some quarters today.

Welcome! I think you’ll like it here. We try to respect all peoples who show respect to others. If you start with respect, then everything virtuous follows.

Sir: sadly one child and two adults taken to Toronto area hospitals in critical condition. Did you notice that 2 fire trucks were on scene as people were still exiting the plane. Awesome response!!

It’s amazing that there are already two fire trucks on scene as passengers are still exiting the plane. Emergency services and their personnel are a special breed.
Thank you!

Hoping this message reaches Mr. Vance.
Sir: please, not for an instant, count me or any other Canadian as one of your friends.

As an electrical engineer I can really appreciate this photo. As an avid amateur photographer I can really appreciate this photograph. 🇨🇦⚡️

Thank you from Nova Scotia to all Canada’s friends in the US, we value your support, and you have ours. This will get worse before it gets better, but we must stand together to beat hatred, fear and oppression.

He simply wants our natural resources. Nothing else. He’s not here to do us any favours. He just wants to plunder. Wake up Canada, this isn’t just a US crisis.

This has to be the Canadian way of the future for a long time to come. Canadians and the municipalities that take our taxes must minimize any support of US-based corps. We can’t avoid all US-based companies, but we must support local, and urgently begin to look elsewhere for trading partners.

Putin must be laying on his couch, surfing Russian TV, and laughing his a** off. His job is complete, we’re doing his dirty work for him.

I think it’s up to Canadians to do the boycotting. I can find Canadian products without relying on the government. I would prefer that my tax dollars didn’t go to contracts with US firms until the threat of tariffs is gone for good.

It’s awful to think it’s come to this for you, I’m very worried for your democracy. There’s nothing we can do from up here other than send moral support and resist interference with our government and institutions. Be safe!

I live in Nova Scotia so I hope our liquor stores do the same. It’s time to look after Canadian businesses and suppliers. Sorry US, but kick us in the n**s and we’ll never forget it.

Please come and visit. You may get a bit of an ear-full, and you may find it harder to find American products, but our fight is with your government, not with sensible, open minded grown-ups who respect truth and freedom. 🇨🇦

We will not forget because this isn’t over, just postponed for a month. We will still restrict our purchases of US made products and find a home grown alternative. I hope our liquor stores do not restock US booze. We cannot let this go on, will you join us? Sorry if this hurts US people. 🇨🇦

Please, don’t call them engineers. Engineers are sworn to uphold public safety as their highest calling. Interfering with personnel records or essential funding to individuals is far from the calling of an engineer.

I fear he wants our resources and will eventually try to send in the military to annex us.

Why vacation? Come on and move up here! We’re the second smallest province with one of the lowest population densities. We’ll squeeze you in.
