These grow in the area where I most frequent for fungi observations, but I’ve never found any myself since they can be really good at blending in with their surroundings. Good on you for finding a bunch!

I saw an account today that commented something about “trust Peter theil” on an NYC mayoral election post. Made no sense, clicked on their profile to report it as a bot account expecting it to be full of pro-trump garbage, and it was just thousands of AI taco chicken slop reposts 🧐

Glad we’re on the same page about Cuomo! Zohran has the best numbers against him though, so wouldn’t it be a good idea to include him to keep Cuomo out? Even if he’s your #5? I’m planning to put Adrienne Adams at #2!

The mayoral primary is June 24th, 2025. If you live here and have never registered you have until June 14th to register to vote, if you just moved from another state and need to update registration you have until June 9th. We also have ranked choice voting which means you can rank 5 candidates

It would logical/good practice to rank Zohran somewhere in your 5 since he has the best chance against Cuomo, even if you put him at #5.

Also as a degree holding (admittedly out of practice) design person, doing concept sketches is an important part of the process. It helps the designer/carpenter/artisan visualize and work through problems in their idea before presenting it to a client. Using AI as concept sketch eliminates that.

My issue with the whole “good for concepts” idea is that it’s not, because it’s full of obvious flaws. Look at how the shelf with decorations had interior wood with only a few inches of space from the edge.
Also a wood artisan should have the ability to put a concept together without AI

floor style change under the rug in the foreground, books are not wedge shaped so the spines wouldn’t line up like that if arranged in a circle, bottom row of books is smooth and reflective on top, like the ai got confused about whether that part should be books or wood

What say you on spiral bound books? 🤔 it’s meant to be permanent, difficult to remove without damaging the pages, but still possible to remove and replace with tools, doesn’t use glue unless you’re gluing the end of the wire to itself 🤔🤔🤔

I’m out of the loop. Is it about the design of the flag? Cause as far as flag design standards go 🏳️⚧️ checks all the boxes… simple, easy enough for a 3 year old to draw, uses no more than 3 colors. I don’t see the problem either 🤷
