Probably one of my favorite stories from the Bible is when Jesus told his disciples they were all going to die because he was giving tax cuts to the rich instead of caring for the sick & the poor and when they got upset, he went to a graveyard and filmed a weirdly condescending video mocking them.

Labeling research activities and findings “scientific misconduct” if the outcomes (or even research objectives) don’t align with this scientifically-illiterate administration poses a serious threat to the free exchange of evidence which has been the hallmark of scientific advances for centuries.

If we’re going to teach hate-filled Jesus in public schools, then we should demand these lessons from the pulpit, along with some basic evolutionary biology and genetics. Maybe then they’ll stop holding signs reading “my body is mRNA free.”
