My hope is that Skadden charts a path that respects the rule of law and honors the core values of the Skadden Foundation. When they do, they’ll preserve and build on the Skadden Foundation’s unparalleled legacy. And I’ll cheer them on, as a former Skadden Fellow.

Even now, Ron DeSantis has a team of lawyers working on what he will be charged with.

As long as there is tax money for frivolous lawsuits, they'll keep trying. And failing.

You're a disgrace. You really need to sit down and shut up. Best regards from Evergreen Park. You coward.

Although most of the comments here are about the topic, rather than the book, I'd like to put in an actual plug for @sarahkendzior.bsky.social's new memoir, "The Last American Road Trip," which (like all her books) is fantastic. I grew up in a road-tripping family, but this book is eye-opening.

Casten is the weak link. His biggest concern is the size of his wallet. And I'm not a, we all have to agree on everything type of liberal. But turning your back to genocide is disqualifying.

Of course you should care about this. But you should also care about the human beings you represent and their families. Barring a real depression, the economy does what it does. But to stand by and watch a genocide and do nothing shows a special kind of messed up priorities.

You should've been around for the Jerry Lewis thing. Happened in the 50's, ancient history, but he was big.

University's used to celebrate their "best and brightest". Gutless "leadership" has allowed Trump to destroy so much.

I can feel your struggle, but I think you need to take another whack at it (or maybe I need to read the book). But on the one hand you're okay with a guy trying to get by using AI enshitification and on the other hand you say we have to resist giving AI companies what they want.

Absolutely lovely.
"Childhood takes a long time to go by so fast."
That is a wondrous sentence that should be etched in the hearts of every parent everywhere.

If you agree, call your Democratic representative and tell them you want Rep. Jasmine Crockett as Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee.
