This is from Israel's oldest paper. This is Israeli media reporting these war crimes and genocide in broad daylight. You won't see this in American corporate media. They've continued to ignore this, enable this, even justify and cheer it on. Do not look away. This is genocide. This cannot stand.

This Supreme Court is not a judicial court, but a royal court. They exist not to apply the laws of this nation fairly for all its citizens but rather to prop up the king and attend to his needs and his needs alone.

Capping college loans will keep poor kids out of college. That’s the plan. That’s been the plan.

PARIS: In the last 20 years, 44ha of Paris car parking has been transformed, making room for wider sidewalks, bikes & buses (15ha), bike racks, EV spots, accessible space, & 2.2K new patios/terraces for outdoor dining. 90% of Paris trips are via walking, biking & transit. The U.S. Supreme Court is a menace to society. Quite literally, it is aiding and abetting the destruction of American society/democracy in favour of dictatorship. If the executive is above the law and the courts can’t check executive power, it’s a dictatorship. What else can it be? #uspol #uspoli

Ari Barbalat interviewed me for New Books Network. It was fun to talk about my book again @newbooksnetwork.bsky.social: newbooksnetwork.com/stalins-gula...

FINALLY a cover that draws undeniable attention to the genocide (though it fails to call a genocide a genocide). So @nymag.com went all in for their cover story, which you can find here: nymag.com/intelligence...

This is beyond unconscionable. How can we stop this?

This is not a budget bill, it is a debt and deportation bill—and one built on the fascist foundation laid by the Heritage Foundation’s now-notorious Project 2025. https://trib.al/JsSFj9V

Most of the ideas mentioned in this article—higher minimum wage, free tuition at public colleges, higher taxes on the rich—are not only popular now but were realities in the past, including in NYC, during the booming postwar years, when America was “great.”/1 www.nytimes.com/2025/06/25/u...

Read this thread! It is terrible. Honestly there’s no way the U.S. survives the Trump Admin intact… it may take a short time, it may take awhile, but it’s almost impossible to see how the country comes back from all of this

Dems think they’re rising above partisan politics by killing impeachment. Really they’re falling down on constitutional duty. Trump illegally bombs Iran without Congress, 128 Dems + leadership join the GOP. We can’t confuse complicity for pragmatism. You don’t fight authoritarianism by enabling it.

From the outside looking in, it appears that: - the U.S. no longer has a Congress/Parliament with any power, and is thus a dictatorship - the U.S. Supreme Court is subservient to the Trump Admin, creating a dictatorship - democracy survives in some local jurisdictions, but for how long?

"The judicial system only works if litigants understand they have to abide by rulings they don’t agree with. If the government can simply throw up two middle fingers and keep on violating court orders, then the whole system of checks and balances is meaningless." — @lizdye.bsky.social

this is obviously coming bc hes not white and has a different name and will be leading a “blue” city, so dem leadership can either circle the wagons and stand for something or do what they always do and continue losing

There should be a coalition of blue states that form a quasi shadow government, that can pool funds and resources to reestablish some of the services destroyed by the Trump admin #uspol #uspoli

Three years without the protections of Roe v. Wade. Three years of cruelty. Three years of women denied care, criminalized for miscarriages, and forced to cross state lines in crisis. Three years of the GOP screaming “freedom” while snatching away our bodily autonomy. (1/2)

It's been 3 years since Dobbs, the decision that allowed states to ban abortion. Women have died, hospitals have shuttered, and millions of Americans now live in areas where they can face jail time for lifesaving medical care. If you are one of those people, you can get help at abortionfunds.org

Remember, this new normal -- in which gangs of masked armed gunmen are causing chaos in the streets, pulling weapons and assaulting innocent people, and no one can say if they're crooks or cops -- was all sold to Americans as a way to make us feel safer.

Israel kills 25 waiting on aid as war death toll exceeds 56,000 #Israel

Mamdani should win but he's the latest example of the Democratic Party closing ranks to keep anyone young and exciting and full of energy out of the party - and then they spend countless millions on consultants trying to figure out why they're struggling with young voters

Not to rain on everyone’s ceasefire-not-ceasefire parade, but that wrecking ball of a big dumb bill is still working its way through the Senate and still launching an assault on women, wages, benefits, and the entire working class

SCOTUS majority not deigning to give *any* reasons for staying the injunction of the district court - in the highest-possible stakes context & where the executive branch has acted appallingly - evincing real contempt for both district courts & the rule of law

Rather than trigger a so-called "constitutional crisis," the Supreme Court seems determined to rule almost everything the Trump Admin does as constitutional, but in that process they're making the constitution meaningless, creating the crisis they sought to avoid #uspoli #uspol

US embassy wants 'every social media username of past five years' on new visa applications jrnl.ie/6740830 🤯

They were supposed to be deporting “gang members” and “criminals.” So far, they have kidnapped people working their day jobs and folks lawfully showing up for their immigration court appearances… It was always a lie.

The NDP condemn Trump’s bombing in Iran & call for immediate de-escalation & a return to diplomatic talks. There is no military solution to this crisis. Millions - including Canadians in the region - will pay the price for the actions of these warmongers. My statement: www.ndp.ca/news/ndp-sta...

It should be clear to everyone that while there are (some) progressive Democratic politicians, the Democratic Party is not a progressive party

Many posts about Trump’s bombing of Iran as illegal because there’s no Congressional authorization and he didn’t follow national security protocol… Not nearly as many posts (at least on my feed) noting that Trump’s bombing of Iran is illegal under international law in any case

U.S. now bombing Iran, too I can't even pretend to understand what's going on in the world these days, but long for a world with more empathy, compassion, respect for diversity, and peace

I’ll say it again: It was a huge mistake for Congress to abolish itself.

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

We’re #1!!!

This is why it’s so enraging to see Establishment Dems “move to the middle” on immigration to attract MAGA voters. Biden deported more people than did Trump—yet the propaganda is “Biden had open borders.” MAGAs don’t care about facts. They don’t care about laws. They just hate Black & brown people.

I wonder if FIFA is at at least exploring moving the World Cup?
