27. Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn
FFXIV is one of my favorite games. ARR doesn't reach the highs its expansions will reach but it still makes a strong case for itself and sets the stage neatly for what's to come. Getting through the post-ARR content before Heavensward is pretty rough though ngl.

I didn't hate this movie, but I don't really feel anything when I stop and think about it. Minecraft is a game that's all about creativity and this movie just isn't interested in bringing that magic and wonder to the big screen at all.

nirvanA Initiative has some solid character writing and powerful emotional beats but is let down a bit by an overarching mystery that doesn't tie it all together as neatly as it should. It's good, but it didn't hook me the same way the first game did.

GB was one of the first outlets I ever subbed to once I got a steady paycheck, and it feels like an end of an era for me to finally cancel it. But between the current ārealignmentā and finding out that Fandom was pocketing sub money, I just canāt do it anymore. (3/4)

Like, it canāt be said enough how Giant Bomb helped write the playbook and paved the way forward for the sort of personality driven content that games media revolves around today. Hardly anyone did it like them back then, and thereās no one quite like them even today. (2/4)

24. DOOM (2016)
DOOM is good. It's an FPS that gets your blood pumping and makes you feel like an unstoppable force of nature. A bit one-note and overstays its welcome though. The first half is unforgettable but the back half is fairly unmemorable except for some notably bad boss fights.

23. Octopath Traveler
The game has the framework for an all-time RPG adventure but I'm constantly thinking "what could've been" and wanting more from it. In the end it doesn't quite deliver on its promises and feels pretty shallow, but I'm also excited to see how they build upon it in the sequel.

I was really happy that I got the chance to see this in theaters; I feel it's pretty rare to get a movie like this on the big screen. Porky and Daffy are a top tier comedic duo and the movie delivers the laughs from start to finish.

21. Mickey 17
Mickey 17 isn't quite the film I thought it was going to be going in, but I still enjoyed it. It's a bit uneven; too heavy on exposition at times and at others it feels like it's rushing the more interesting beats. The cast really elevated the film; great performances all around.

20. Sonic Unleashed Recompiled
Sonic Unleashed isn't my favorite Sonic game at all but it's hard not to be impressed with what has been accomplished with this project. Unleashed deserves to be more widely available and I'm happy that it finally got a PC port even if unofficial.
