Hairstylist wants me to send some examples of styles I might want. Looking at actual fashion/modeled photos makes my brain short out when trying to imagine myself in relation to them, so I'm skimming hair-related subreddits instead, which... well, also has a lot of model-looking folks, but also not

This Achewood is how I feel any time I make myself consider buying clothing that isn't a black T-shirt and it is amplified 10x whenever I am looking at non-dude clothing. Like I see a nice happy fat lady in a smock dancin' in a field & my brain pal says "what, you trying to be special or something?"

Probably unsurprisingly the vast majority of advice out there for NB/GNC fat people trying to find clothes is targeted at people who want to dress more androgynous/masc. Googling "blouse that david bowie would wear when getting fruity w/ it but for six foot tall fat dude SHOW ME IT" not helping
