You might be stuck - they explained it to me that you could only downgrade to “Classic” on your legacy sub. Maybe if you chat them they can help you, but feels like if it’s through Apple Store they won’t show the option

Some bad news.. they also have polar day from April 20 to August 23… so might not be as good as you think
