When it comes to LLMs, this is the only question that matters. And it’s an issue that can’t be engineered away, because LLMs’ correlation-based epistemology is fundamentally incompatible with scientific-based reasoning. It can be ignored, however. Which has tended to be the default position.

Most amazing thing about this video is that, on a 35mph street with traffic-calming curb bump-outs and street parking, the police cruiser manages to drive from Azelda Street to the alley west of Cleveland Avenue, 1.15 miles, in 60 seconds. Average speed 69mph, twice the speed limit.

There are several sidewalk ends like this on my street. The answer is: 0. Existing sidewalks are retrofits. 1. You don't own the land the sidewalk is on, so extending the sidewalk costs extra time and money for the City ROW permits. 2. The City has no grant programs for homeowners to add sidewalks.

A cult classic film, but in my head it started several modern trends: greenscreen-dominant filming, heavy post-processing, and crowdfunding for major creative works. Pairs well with The Rocketeer (1991), another film about punching Nazis.
