I'm delighted to see @anist.bsky.social is standing to be Deputy Leader of the #GreenParty. Over the years I've known Ani, I've been consistently impressed by Ani's calm dedication, and commitment to the Party and its values.

I’m backing @zackpolanski.bsky.social for Leader of the Green Party of England & Wales. #backzack

I'm travelling across Europe, to speak up for #Disabled #cyclists at @velo-city-conference.com. Today, home-Berlin. Tomorrow Berlin-Gdansk (Poland). Journey is going smoothly so far. Famously tricky 25 minutes Brussles connection went OK after the Eurostar, & I've changed train at Cologne OK, too.

This case caused us a lot of work @wheelsforwellbeing.org.uk. Kate led for us: it's great to see her efforts being recognised. Related work goes on. As Kate says "We need...urgent national guidance...it’s never acceptable to remove a Disabled person’s aids unless there’s...immediate risk” #Equality

While today I was out on my #cycle, a very conventional two wheeler, I'm marking #WorldBicycleDay by recognising that not all cycles are #bicycles, as illustrated in this graphic from my colleagues. Maybe one year soon it will be a more inclusive "world cycle day"?

It was great to catch my colleagues and their work on BBC TV last week.

It seems to me that more needs to be done to restrict access of those who are likely to use vehicles as lethal weapons to vehicles. Not easy, but no reason to not try.

I'm horrified to hear the news from Liverpool. I've been part of the crowd of football fans during a victory parade in the past. I expect I will be again. For a celebration like that to turn into a scene of carnage is just so shocking. My thoughts are with Liverpool fans, their families and friends.
