That beind said, I've recently played Chrono Trigger and really enjoyed Mitsuda's work :)
As for adlib music, StΓ©phane Picq is one of my main inspiration, on the same level than Lucasart's dreamteam (Michael Land, Peter McConnell, Clint Bajakian)

Thank you so much!! π Well, I'm very biased since 99,99% of the game I played were on PC. For years I would have said Jeremy Soule (especially his work on Total Annihilation, and KOTOR too). But now I feel different about him since the recent allegations.

Thx to you, @theblackhawk.bsky.social, @bertrandguegan.bsky.social and Maxim Grachev I could release the demo of Temple of the Three Rules.
Hopefully I can work on this game during my next vacation soon!

Thank your my friend for this kind commentπ
Yes, it was very fun to record it.
Maybe it'll be the beginning of a new music style, like thrift music or charityshop music or something like this π
(but I'm sure the concept already exists somewhere)

I don't know, never played it π Controls never really bothered me so... π

If you liked Prisoner of Ice, I would definitely recommend playing Shadow of the Comet.
But mind that the controls are a bit clunky π
(but it's really worth it)

Only digital (MP3, wav, ogg). For now the only tracks playable on real hardware are the one I compose with RADtracker ;)

You're welcome! I'm also using Juceoplvsti, it's my go-to plugin when it comes to OPL2 adlib music :) Also, it's possible to automate parameters, which is very cool!! (ADLplug unfortunately cannot..!)
RADtracker is really fun, plus, the music you make with it can be played on real vintage hardware!

For OPL3, I'm using ADLplug. I've spent much time creating my own instruments, all saved in presets (~50 instruments) so I can recall them when composing.
As for the DAW, I'm using FLstudio, which I find very convenient for all kind of electronic/computer music. Hope that helps π
